  1. Hi all,

    Im looking for recommendations for a material to be used in laser cutting, preferably a kind of plastic, which has a few characteristics.

    Namely:

    *Easy and quick to cut - one that even a low power laser will make short work of

    *Fairly flexible but also maintaining stiffness and memory (much like thin ply)

    *A nice finish.

    Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

  2. One good candidate for this could be copolyester. It's a clear flexible plastic that can be cut very rapidly by a laser cutter. The material can burn slightly so even then the settings are correct it will have a slightly beveled edge but that's not really noticeable with the naked eye.
